• Communications: Messages you send us through feedback forms or support channels.

• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our service, including features used, edits made, and time spent.

How We Use Your Information

• Service Delivery: To process your images, apply AI-powered edits, and provide color grading services.
• Account Management: To maintain your account, manage subscriptions, and process payments.

• Supabase: User accounts, project data, and metadata are stored in secure PostgreSQL databases with row-level security.
• AWS S3: Images are stored in encrypted S3 buckets in the United States.
• Modal: Image processing is performed on secure serverless infrastructure.
• Groq & Google AI: AI models process image analysis requests. No images are stored by these providers.
• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management (PCI-DSS compliant).

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted third-party services (listed above) necessary to operate our platform.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified).
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share information.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access: You can access your account information and photos at any time through your dashboard.
• Correction: You can update your display name and account settings directly in the app.
• Deletion: You can delete individual projects, images, or your entire account. Upon deletion, we remove your data within 30 days.
• Export: You can download your edited images at any time.
• Opt-Out: You can opt out of non-essential communications through your account settings.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain it for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention (typically 90 days maximum).

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption (data at rest and in transit), secure authentication, row-level database security, regular security audits, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Summrs is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

International Users

Summrs is operated in the United States. If you are accessing our service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
