How to Make the CORTIS RedRed Studio Choom AI Video

By Summrs Team••4 min read

CORTIS debuted under BigHit Music in August 2025 — the label's first boy group since TXT, and only the third in twelve years after BTS. Their single "RedRed" went to #1 on Korea's Circle Digital Chart. The Studio Choom performance hit 32 million views in five months.

This is how you put yourself into that performance.

How to Make It

  1. Open the CORTIS RedRed Studio Choom template on Summrs.
  2. Upload a clear photo — face and upper body, even lighting.
  3. Generate and download — no watermark.

The AI maps your face onto the choreography from the Studio Choom session. One photo, finished video out.

What Is Studio Choom

If you follow K-pop, you already know this. If you do not: Studio Choom is Mnet's dedicated performance channel. Artists are invited to perform in a clean, well-lit studio with multi-angle 4K cameras. No audience, no stage effects — just the choreography.

Studio Choom has become one of the most recognizable destinations for choreography-focused K-pop performances on YouTube. The focus is entirely on the dance. No narrative cuts, no scene changes, no B-roll of the members walking through a parking garage. Just five people dancing.

That clean format is also what makes Studio Choom performances work well for face swaps. The lighting is even and consistent. The camera angles are predictable. The background is minimal. All of that helps the AI map a face cleanly without fighting visual noise.

Who Is CORTIS

Five members: Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. James (born 2005) is 20, while the others range from 17 to 18.

They debuted with "What You Want" in August 2025. The choreography was performed on treadmills, which is not something most debut stages attempt. Their EP Color Outside the Lines entered the Billboard 200 at #15.

"Go!" went viral on TikTok before "RedRed" even dropped. Complex covered it: J-Hope, Katseye members, a weatherman, and a mariachi musician all posted their own versions.

Then "RedRed" came out in 2026 and went to #1 on the Circle Digital Chart. The Studio Choom performance followed on April 22 and crossed 20 million views in under three months.

The RedRed Choreography

CORTIS's debut concept centered on "Color Outside the Lines" — the idea of breaking rules. The "RedRed" choreography leans into that. There is a section at 1:11 where all five members lock into a synchronized turn that fans call the "빙빙" (spinning) moment. The song uses a traffic-light concept — red represents caution and playing it safe, green represents what they pursue — and the choreography shifts energy between those two modes.

The Studio Choom version is the definitive performance. No backup dancers, no stage set, no pyro. Just the five of them in a white studio with the choreography at full intensity. That is the version the template uses.

Photo Tips for K-Pop Face Swaps

K-pop choreography is faster and more precise than most face swap source material. A few things help:

  • Even lighting matters more here. Studio Choom footage is lit evenly from all angles. If your upload has harsh shadows on one side of your face, the mismatch is more noticeable.
  • Front-facing photo. The choreography has head turns, but the AI anchors from a forward-facing base. Straight-on uploads give the cleanest result.
  • Upper body, not full body. The AI needs enough face detail to map. Too far away and it loses resolution.
