How to Make the ATEEZ Bad AI Dance Video

By Summrs Team••3 min read

Why ATEEZ's BAD Choreography Went Viral

The BAD challenge did not stay inside the ATEEZ fandom. San's chest-pop — a sharp, isolated hit where the chest snaps forward and drops back in a single beat — became the signature move of 2026 K-pop challenges. Korea JoongAng Daily covered how the choreography spread beyond existing fans. Hanteo's August analysis found that challenges featuring the BAD dance averaged roughly 2.8 times the views of comparable K-pop challenge content. Performers from other groups — Momo, Kai, Taemin — posted their own versions.

The ATEEZ Bad template on Summrs lets you recreate that choreography with AI. Upload three photos and the AI places your group into the BAD performance — the chest-pop, the formation changes, the synchronized hits, the Brazilian funk beat.

How to Make the ATEEZ Bad AI Dance Video

  1. Open the ATEEZ Bad template on Summrs.
  2. Upload three photos:
    • Center — the lead position in the choreography
    • Left of center — flanking the lead on the left
    • Right of center — flanking the lead on the right
  3. Pick your quality — 720p or 480p.
  4. Generate. Landscape 16:9, about 16 seconds, with the song.

What Happens in the 16-Second Clip

The template uses ATEEZ's BAD performance from The Kelly Clarkson Show, recorded in July 2026 in World Cup soccer jersey outfits. The official upload has over 19 million views on YouTube.

The clip captures the main choreography section: the three featured dancers open in a line across the front of the stage with backup dancers behind them. The formation shifts throughout — the center performer steps forward for the chest-pop sequence, the flanks mirror each other, then all three pull tight for synchronized arm hits and body rolls before fanning back out.

Each photo is mapped to one featured performer. The same person is preserved through every formation change and camera movement. The backup dancers, the stage, the camera work, and the audio are all from the original performance and do not change.

Choosing Photos for Three Dancers

The AI tracks three separate people through overlapping choreography. Photos that make this easier:

  • Distinct hair — similar dark hair and face shapes are the hardest case for the model. Different lengths, colors, or textures help.
  • Contrasting outfits — the AI uses clothing to maintain separation when dancers cross paths. Three people in black will blend.
  • Face and upper body visible — the model anchors identity from both. Cropped headshots give it less to work with.
  • Matched lighting — mixing one outdoor photo with two indoor photos can create inconsistent skin tones across the three dancers.

The center slot gets the most screen time. If one person is the reason you are making the video, put them in center.

The output is 16:9 landscape — the full stage, backup dancers, and formation are part of the shot. For vertical platforms, letterboxing keeps the choreography visible.
